    Task: Reading comprehension

    Objective:

    1.          To revise and extend students’ vocabulary related to the seasons.

    2.          To raise students’ awareness of how journal should be write.

    3.          To give students practice in reading for detail.

     

    Resources (if any):

    Outcome:

    Students are able to show their feelings about the different weather.

     

    Procedure:

    1.          T posts the passage on the blog.

    2.          Ss work in groups to identify the functions of different parts.

    3.          Ss give feedback about the hot weather.

    4.          T show the title of the writing.

    5.          Ss draft their writing and post the drafts on the blog.

    6.          Ss work in pairs; they read each others’ journal. They may write comments on their friends’ blogs.

    7.          Ss correct the mistakes, rewrite the letters and post it on the blog.

    8.          T and the peers read the letters and give comments. They may also give eprops to the good works.

    9.          T chooses the good works and post them on the display blog or class blog.

  • Bad weather

    I backed to my office today. There was a heavy rain while I left my office. I walked through a path and got in a taxi with my colleagues. I had an umbrella with me but all my clothes were wet. I have a paino lesson tomorrow. I really don't want to go out under the bad weather. It is perfer to stay indoor with a cup of hot drink!
